Privacy
The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Last updated 22 October 2026.
Who we are
Tereka is a small team in Lagos, Nigeria. We run Cups (cups.tereka.ng), Tax (tax.tereka.ng), PortPosition (port.tereka.ng), TenderIntel (tender.tereka.ng) and the Tereka WhatsApp bot. Contact us at [email protected].
What each tool keeps

Our sites also use Cloudflare to load fast and stay safe, and Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. That counting uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Why we use it
- To answer your messages and send the alerts you asked for.
- To contact you about a trial or plan you requested.
- To keep the services working and safe from abuse.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the providers named on this page, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- WhatsApp message logs: deleted automatically after 180 days.
- Alert and trial requests: until you ask us to stop, or 2 years after we last heard from you.
Delete your data
- On WhatsApp: send DELETE MY DATA to the Tereka number. We delete your messages, alert requests and settings straight away.
- By email: write to [email protected] from the address or with the phone number you used. We reply within 7 days.
- Cups: clear the app's data in your browser, and delete the Google Sheet from your Drive if you made one.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, and object to how we use it. Email [email protected]. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Your money
We never ask for your BVN, PIN, OTP or bank login. Tereka never holds or moves your money.
Changes
If we change this page, we will update the date at the top. Big changes will be announced on our sites.
